Base Building Design

AMB uses Standard Method for measuring floor area set forth by the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). AMB designs and creates colored floor plans to assist in emphasizing the space for the client’s intentions.

The Net Rentable Area (NRA) and Net Usable Area (NUA) are calculated and correlated into a spreadsheet for use by the client. As well, the NRA and NUA calculations can be of assistance at a later date for utilization if the floor or building were to change or be sold. (Post construction NRA calculations may be required by the lender when the construction of a new building is complete before finalizing the financing.)

On site Field Verifications are handled by AMB representatives and are then drawn in CAD for use by both the client and AMB.
