At AMB Architects, our team has always considered our firm among the best places to work in Houston. We are excited to announce that the Houston Business Journal agrees with us! HBJ ranked AMB Architects seventh in their list of 55 small businesses honored in the Best Places to Work of 2020 ranking.
Throughout this award processes, organizers compared AMB architects to Houston-area businesses of similar size and took into consideration a variety of factors such family time, leadership, advancement opportunities, recognition and compensation, and the company’s climate for embracing innovation and ideas.
All Best Places to Work winners were determined exclusively based on their employees’ responses to the Best Places to Work Survey. Employee responses from the 30 standard survey questions, along with the number of employees that respond to the survey, are calculated to determine the company’s overall score and ranking. AMB founder Alyse Makarewicz purposefully created a work environment that would break the myth of success requiring all-nighters and burning the candle at both ends. Her vision that our work directly impacts the productivity, success, and happiness of clients is magnified when it comes to AMB employees. For the past six years, AMB Architects has been ranked among the city’s top employers; this year’s designation is the seventh time we’ve been recognized among the top 10 Best Places to Work.
