Operations Manager & Permitting Whisperer

Jimmy is the Operations Manager and Permitting Guru for AMB Architects. He has been an integral part of keeping the day-to-day operations of AMB moving forward since 2008. Jimmy began his adventure in helping with permits in 2013. Since then, he has become the “Permitting Whisperer” for our office. With his great people skills & knowledge, he has been able to actively keep our projects moving forward with limited delays during the permit process.

Though Jimmy received a degree in Business Administration and Business Management, his first career choice out of college was Chef. Jimmy left the culinary world when he moved to Houston, and quickly landed a role at AMB Architects.

Jimmy enjoys playing tennis, bowling, outdoor fun, and travel. Jimmy has been adopted by his 4 dogs Ouiser (Golden Retriever & Shepherd Mix), Cooper (Pitbull), Luna (Boxer/Lab Mix), and Zoe (German Shepherd/Husky Mix).

A nice rainstorm & a nap.
Where is your favorite place to travel/vacation & why?
Puerto Vallarta. The weather, the people, the food & of course the beach.
What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Soft-serve chocolate/vanilla custard swirl
What was your first vehicle?
AMC Concord – Baby Blue – Had a broken traction rod in the rear passenger side door. Was not pretty, but it got me around :)
