Lauren received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Houston in 2012 after studying at the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture. With more than a decade of experience, Lauren has worked on both interior and exterior architecture design projects. Her design portfolio includes medical and commercial interiors, a fire station, numerous custom residential projects, educational renovations, and a commercial strip center. By working on various large and small-scope projects, she gained experience on how to problem solve with design.

Lauren enjoys creatively finding design solutions while helping all parties communicate and work within the required timeline. When she’s not being creative at work she enjoys finding creative projects to do with her family. Lauren also enjoys spending time outside with her husband, daughters, and dog.

  • What do you like best about working at AMB Architects?

    AMB supports and encourages me to grow in all areas of life. Focusing on the whole person is what I believe makes us a successful team at AMB. We can thrive through all circumstances because we know and are able to offer our best selves.

  • What is your Personal Life Philosophy?

    “It takes a village”: I prefer doing life alongside others than alone. I believe life is much sweeter and enjoyable when done in the community. Spending quality time with others and living life intentionally is my personal core values.

  • How do you Relax?

    Gathering around the dinner table, meeting to celebrate life with family, and playing outdoors with my girls are some of life's simple pleasures I enjoy most.

  • What is your favorite place to travel/vacation & why?

    My favorite places to travel are national parks because connecting back with nature grounds me. I also enjoy unplugging from technology to connect without distractions to those I am traveling.

  • What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?

    Chocolate with fresh strawberries.

    Manual 2004 Ford Ranger truck
