Lyric Market is a 14,000 s.f. chef-driven food hall located next to the iconic Lyric Tower in the heart of Houston’s Theatre District. AMB Architects worked in tandem with food hall specialist Eimer Design to produce a chic interior design intended as a backdrop for a curated experience of diverse food and culture. The Lyric Market experience includes a 7,500 s.f. outdoor deck overlooking a community plaza with the David Addickes “Virtuoso” sculpture.
Spanning nearly an entire city block, Lyric Market is nestled adjacent to the new 7-story Lyric Centre Garage. The garage is covered with a custom LED façade, effectively turning it into an ever-changing canvas of colors. The Lyric Market location at street level between the garage and tower entrance is optimally situated for downtown employees, theatre patrons, and tourists. It is a “one-stop-shop” destination: visitors can purchase coffee, a variety of healthy food choices, great drinks, and more.
Lyric Market remains operational after-hours and is a draw to bring people downtown for fine dining, upscale bar service, and different-sized gathering spaces.
